CMYK vs RGB

Q. What is the difference between the CMYK and RGB color space?

A. “RGB” refers to the primary colors of red, green, and blue. “CMYK” refers to the primary colors of pigment: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The CMYK colors are used on printing presses to make any hue possible for “full color printing.”


Delivery Time

Q. How long will it take to get my order?

A. This will depend on job type but most jobs will ship within the first week after the approval of your proof. Depending on the shipping service, this means you should receive your order under the two week mark after you approve the proof.




File Format

Q. What file formats will providers accept?

A. We will accept MS Word, Powerpoint, Mac or PC versions of Quark, Pagemaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Publisher, and any file output as a PDF file.

We will accept a files on CD, DVD, or USB stick.



Quantity Ordered

Q. Will I always receive the exact amount of prints ordered?

A. Most times you will receive a little more than asked for free of charge. Printing industry trade standards allow for shortages up to 5%, so if you are planning prints to be sent out for a mailing list, it is wise to order 5% more than you need to make up for the possible shortage.




Two Colour Printing

Q. Do you offer 2-color printing?

A. Though most printers will tell you that going full color will get you the best value, we do offer 2-color printing.




Business Cards

Q. How long does it take to print business cards ?

A. Normally within 10 days. It depends greatly on the job required. Business card requests vary immensely from single colour one-sided to multiple colours both side and laminated. The more colours the more expensive.
In-house business cards printed 1 side only can be produced usually within 48 hours


Large Signs

Q. Are you able to make large canvas signs.

A. We can make banners with a width of 612mm up to any length. Canvas is not a problem.
